Each Memorial Day weekend, the city of Zimmerman comes alive with the annual Wild West Days festival, a cherished tradition that brings together residents and visitors to celebrate the community’s rich heritage and vibrant culture. This year’s festivities are set to take place from May 21st to 25th, 2026, at City Park, located at 2nd St E. and Main St.
A Weekend Packed with Activities
The festival offers a diverse array of activities catering to all ages and interests. Attendees can look forward to:
- Live Music and Entertainment: Enjoy performances from local bands and artists, showcasing a variety of musical genres that reflect the community’s diverse tastes.
- Art and Craft Vendors: Explore the Street Mercantile, open Friday through Sunday, featuring local artisans and crafters displaying their unique creations.
- Fireworks Display: Experience the spectacular fireworks show near the carnival area, a highlight of the festival that lights up the Zimmerman sky.
- Car and Bike Show: On Sunday from 11 am to 3 pm, car enthusiasts can admire a range of classic and custom vehicles. Entry is $10 per vehicle, with trophies and prizes awarded.
- Kid & Adult Pedal Tractor Pull: A fun-filled event for both children and adults, taking place on Saturday at 3 pm in front of Countryside Collision.
- Carnival Rides and Fair Food: From Thursday through Monday, enjoy thrilling rides and indulge in a variety of delicious fair foods.

The Zimmerman Community Club now hosts the fireworks display, continuing the tradition of spectacular shows previously organized by Legion Post #560.
